I have been in love with being physically active since I was young, but when I had my first son, Bear, I couldn’t wrap my head around how to do it at home with a very attached baby. I went from teaching high school, running frequently, camping, hiking, teaching yoga, and traveling during school breaks, to being a first time stay at home mom during the COVID outbreak. The loneliness of having a baby during the pandemic was overwhelming, to say the least! Thankfully I found Fit4Mom during the summer of 2021, I packed all the things in my car, and got out of the house somehow to try out their classes at the park. This launched my start of really consistently connecting to other moms and I’m grateful for the opportunity. Seeing other mamas navigate this phase of life with their littles and having others to relate to was inspiring and truly comforting. No one gets a mom like other moms can. Now I’m grateful I get to step out of my comfort zone and encourage other moms on their fitness journey! I am originally from SE Los Angeles, born and raised. I love spending time with my family, making plant based meals with my 2 children, reading, gardening, yoga, and pushing my limits.
